What we've been up to!

So the past three weeks have whipped by, as it often does when the sun is out on a constant basis. Since Noah is the youngest, he is home with Rebecca more often. As you can see, he has been taught the art of pampering and opening up his pores (whatever that means). I think Noah is even hoping the his brothers get out of school soon.

Rebecca and I gave Sarah (Reba's sister) the gift of time to help weed their front garden and plant some new plants. It was a bit more overwhelming than we had originally assessed in our expert opinion. This wasn't Sarah's fault but more our own fault in thinking we can conquer the world, raise children, cook dinner, and "weed" a garden all in a weekend. We did have a great time doing it and the end result turned out great. Every time we were over there, the kids brought their bikes and the inflatable pool. They were set since in was in the low 90's

Sarah and Josh were in New York during this time, so we had the run of their house also stocked with the Wii and diet coke to boot.

We did also find time to go down to the park on the waterfront in Bremerton and let the kids hang out in the sun and play in the water. We really like this spot and the kids always want to end the day getting ice cream from Cold Stone Creamery.

need I say more?

Jacob could spend hours down there. As long as the ferry boat doesn't sound it's loud horn, we are good to go. he was spared this time.

Noah was riding Rebecca to have friends over from preschool to have a "end of the year party". They had a great time as they went on the trampoline, the slip and slide and ate Popsicles.

We were blessed to hear Jonah read some of his poetry at his writing debut. The second grade work on writing and poetry and have a night where they invite parents and grandparents and share their writing with all of us. He did a great job and really enjoyed his class this year.

One of the many pictures with grandma. It is always a little nerve racking when you see your child holding a microphone.

The rest of the week has been filled with end of the year events like talent shows, beach days, ice cream parties and more recesses than should be allowed. Today, Jonah was in the talent show with his friends and he was so excited to play the air guitar. His best friend, Sam, sang.

Although the talent show (2 hours) was great, Noah got a little stir crazy along with the rest of the student body.

In the talent show, Jacob showed everyone how he made a paper airplane. Of course this is no regular paper airplane but an amazing one. He was so pleased with himself.
So, that is a brief touch on the last three weeks. This coming weekend, we are leaving for Priest Lake, Id to do much needed water skiing and relaxing. Pictures to follow. Hope you summer is starting with a bang!
