Priest Lake--packing in the fun!!

So far, this is the only picture that has downloaded due to weak internet connections at Grandview. We are out in the middle of nowhere, but I had hoped to have some more pictures. What a fun couple days so far here at Priest Lake. You know how it is. The first day or two, the kids want to try every possible thing they can. They run from one activity to the next until they crash in bed that first night or two. We have my parents boat again this year and uncle Josh's jet skis. There are two of them, so there is always something to do. All of the kids have ridden on the back of them so far, along with boating, innertubing, and wake boarding. Jacob and Noah really liked the Jet Skis, but Jonah was much more cautious and wanted to get off soon after riding with Sarah. Yes, I said Sarah. Even though she is pregnant, she hops on and gives each kid a ride if they want. Noah would love to take out the jet ski on his own, so we have to watch him. He thinks he can do anything. I also got a three person innertube for my birthday this year to use at Priest Lake. We have had a blast on that. One adult rides in the middle with a child on either side. We have been going slowly, but the kids have had a blast. Last night, we toasted s'mores, which is always an adventure. It seems like the kids have to be hosed down afterwards due to the marshmallows that don't make it in their mouths.

Today, we decided to go over to Indian Creek camp ground because they have a great beach. We were bringing the boat and both jet skis. Noah hopped on the back of the jet ski and they started out of the inlet. The jet ski rolled over and dropped both Josh and Noah off into the water. Noah had a big look on his eyes as Josh grabbed in and threw him back on the jet ski. After that, Noah rode in the boat and Rebecca and I rode on one of them together. We made it over to the beach and took out the inter tube. Josh, Noah, and Jonah were on the inter tube and I was driving. We went around a corner going about 10 miles an hour and the front of the inter tube took on water and Noah fell out. Again, Josh grabbed him and pulled him back on the inter tube, but he was terrified. We pulled him into the boat and thought that twice in one day was probably pushing it. Once he calmed down, he was charged back up and talking about how the inter tube is so much fun. He is a little dare devil. I think it is good that these things happened at age 4 because he just gets up and moves forward. Jonah is much more cautious but was willing to go on the inner tube. We had a great day, but it is tiring to be at the beach all day long and takes walks to buy ice cream. I will keep trying to put some pictures up but if not, you will have to wait until we get back. Tonight is enchiladas, game playing, and hoping for a good, long sleep. Vacationing is tiring.
