Brownsville Elementary's Movathon, May 31st

So, the kids worked hard this year, along with their mom, raising money for a new playground at their school. From 9a.m. to 3 p.m. kids from the school received pledges for how long they were going to exercise. You could do anything under the sun. They had biking, running, hoola hoops, capture the flag, soccer, and anything else they could find to keep moving. Rebecca was kind of in charge of the event, so our kids ended up staying for the whole day. They did a great job and worked really hard.

Jonah's reading teacher came by to support the kids and also do some exercise herself. They kids thought it was great seeing their teachers participating.

Mrs. Stewart lead the kids through a ton of different games and fun activities. The kids had a blast with her.

Even though Noah didn't raise money for the school, he was right in there for the entire day doing his part. He is like the energizer bunny.

At the end of the day, the kids were comatose. They had worked so hard and had a great time with all of their friends and staff. It was also nice that day, which is rare these days. I think we have any seen the sun a couple days during the month of May. Thank God this was one of those days.

This was funny to watch all of the kids try out the hoola hoops. Jacob and Jonah raised the most money in the school. As a result, they were both won a DS Game each. They were both so excited about this. Thanks to all who supported the boys.
Tired but happy
