Noah and Jonah sleeping in the same room on an air mattress. They, of course, love sleeping in the same room, but always takes a little while longer to fall asleep.
We all laugh looking out the window seeing Jacob on the tree swing with head phones on and 3-D glasses on. Not sure why he was wearing all of that, but one never knows.
We did head off to the Tillamook Cheese Factory and took the tour, had lunch, and tried the cheese. It was fun to watch them make the cheese in the factory. Uncle Tim got the pleasure of of walking with the kids. When we say, "everyone grab a hand", all the kids fight for Tim and Carrie.
Here is a picture of the floor of the factory where they were cutting the cheese and shrink wrapping it.
Kids and their ice cream. It was good ice cream. I wanted to run and buy a couple of gallons until I remembered that they sell it in the store around the corner from us.
In front of the Tillamook Factory.
We also went to another winery where they sold some good cheese and wine for later that night. They had animals that the kids were able to feed.
Carrie feeding the goat?
We went to the beach later on and there was an enormous sand hill that the kids ran up. At first, the kids were running up and it looked pretty simple even though it looked horrible to run up. I ended up trying to run up it also along with Reba and Tim. Carrie had already done it before so she was the smart one that decided to stay with the stuff. Jacob made it up the hill first, then Jonah, then me and then Tim. We thought we were going to have a heart attack, but we did it. Rebecca felt like she was going to throw up, she she stopped 1/4 shy of the top. The next day, I had a hard time getting up out of a sitting position. At the top, it was a beautiful view, but it was a lot of work.
The next morning, Uncle Tim played cards with the kids while the ladies made breakfast. It was fun to see a tired Tim playing with the kids. I came in a little bit later on. Tim realized that it takes 2 cups of coffee prior to playing cards early in the morning.
