Celebrating My Mom's Mother's day with the kids

The boys and I went over to Bainbridge on Saturday and brought breakfast for grandma for Mother's Day. Afterwards, we took a walk down to one of the beaches on Bainbridge since it was such a beautiful day. We had a great time. For those of you who have boys, taking them on a hike that leads to a beach is the ultimate. There is so much to do at the beach and so many ways to get dirty.

This is Jonah doing his best to look manly in the photo--he has a long way to go.

I love this stance that Noah takes when he is looking at crabs. He didn't want to turn the rock over or hold the crabs, so he would wait for Jonah to come over and do it for him.

Jonah loves to handle the crabs and anything else that is gross.

And where was Jacob you say? He was roaming the beach dressed up like Indiana Jones, equipped with everything down to the whip that he made our of a rope. Hew borrowed Papa's hat, and he was ready to go.

The kids can stay at a beach for hours. Those are some of my best memories. Going to a beach in the summer and letting the kids run wild. Happy Mother's Day to my mom and all the moms our there today. We are taking Rebecca to church and then over to Seattle today so pictures will follow later of her Mother's Day.
